Georgette and Zach's wedding was supposed to be the first wedding I photographed to kick off my 2020 season, and while it still was the first it looked a lot different than originally planned.

Georgette is an RN and Zach is a Doctor and they both knew that having a large wedding with the coronavirus pandemic in full effect wasn't an option any longer and quickly went back and forth deciding if they would do something small on their original date this year or just wait until next year for the big party. They decided it was worth doing a minimony with their immediately family and some very close friends, and I'm so happy they did because unfortunately I won't be able to shoot their large wedding day next year :(

Their wedding was still just as beautiful, because even though covid-19 changed their plans it didn't change their love.

After shooting their wedding, I think I'm becoming a fan of the smaller, intimate weddings. We had an hour just for their portraits! Sometimes, on wedding days, I'm lucky to get 30 minutes with the bride and groom! So this was a very welcomed change of pace.
