1. Wear something comfortable
The biggest piece of advice I can give about what to wear to your next photoshoot, is wear something comfortable!! the last thing you want to be doing during your session is messing with straps, pulling a skirt down and feeling completely uncomfortable, and unconfident in your outfit. And just because it’s a photoshoot doesn’t mean you have to run out and buy a new outfit. I promise you, you have something sitting in your closet that is true to you and oh so comfortable!
2. Don’t Forget About Hair and Makeup
This doesn’t mean you have to go full force with fake lashes and bright red lips, but it does mean you should want to elevate the natural, beautiful you. Please, please, pleaseeee don’t wear so much that you won’t let your significant other touch your face or even your hair for that matter. Keep it natural!
3. Pick A Location That Means Something To YOU!
While your photographer can give you lots of tips and advice and tell you what they recommend, you should really choose a place that means something to you, your significant other and your relationship. Even if that means your session is at a brewery! Your pictures will have such a deeper meaning when they take place somewhere that holds a special place in your heart.
4. BE YOURSELF!
There’s nothing worse than putting on a face in front of the camera, because trust me the camera sees all! Take a big deep breath, do something relaxing before your session, and come as your goofy, lovey selves!
